MORU is a brand living in Cappadocia with the spirit of the Mediterranean and Aegean. Avanos hosts the products created by brothers Aslı and Tayfun Orhan. When you enter the workshop with its old stone arch architecture, you will encounter model and color options that combine traditional and modern styles.

Based on our experience and perspective on life, we focus on tableware for daily use that you will enjoy using. We prepare our products with the various stoneware muds and glazes suitable for the mud. We produce the products entirely by hand, by shaping them on a ceramic lathe and shaping them by hand.

Let's share a brief information about the ceramic products process. After the ceramic object is prepared with mud, it is left to dry. Drying time may take 4-7 days depending on weather conditions. Then, the first firing is at 950 degrees in the ceramic kiln, and the second firing after glazing is at 1250 degrees. The time it takes for any product to become available is at least 2 weeks. The products can be washed in the dishwasher with peace of mind.
